HOLIDAY NOTICE.
Wednesday, the 3rd of June (King's Birthday), will- be observed as a holiday. ; POST OFFICE— A close holiday will be \ observed. . There will be no delivery by letter-carriers. Receivers and Postingboxes will be cleared on ,the evening of Tuesday, 2nd June, at 7 p.m. Mails usually despatched on Wednesday will close oh Tuesday night (2nd) at 7.30, bu^ supplementary mails will be made up on Wednesday up to 7 - a.m. A delivery of correspondence, including registered, will be made on Tuesday between 7 and 8 p.m., at the Post-office counter, and a letter-carriers' delivery at the same hour from the Post-office wicket (m private box lobby). The private box lobby will be open as usual, TELEGRAPH OFFICE— The following hours will be observed: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ana 7 p.nv to midnight. TELEPHONE EXCHANGE— Hours as usual. J. J. PICKETT.
