The above, senior teams met on the Reserve on Saturday afternoon, the match ending m a draw.* Soon after the commencement of the game, McCliskifc scored for West End.. Mercantile got going, and attacked strongly, with the result that Sweet evened up the score with a neat goal, the ball having been centred well by MacKay. Clare notched the next goal for Mercantile as a result of combined play on the Mercantile side. ; The scores remained unaltered when half-time was called. ,

Matters were evened, but as the result 6f a forward attack at West End's goal Duncan shot into the net, giving Mercantile a load of two. Mercantile (2).— Civil Service defeated Mercantile by three goals to two, after an even game.
