LONDON, May 21. A gi*eat bush fire broke out at Aldershot, ahd encircled the Royal • Pavilion . m Long Valley, where the King" and Queen, who are attending .the army manoeuvres, are now m residence. The flames were promptly attacked by a large number of troops, the swords pi the cavalrymen proving most effective m cutting down the blazing undergrowth. The fire is believed to have been the work of suffragettes. As their Majesties were leaving the Royal pavilion, two women dashed m front of their carriage waving a banner* on which was inscribed "votes fof women."
