A lengthy meeting of the Poverty Bay Football Association management committee was held last evening. Mr E. W. Harvey presiding over a good attendance.

The N.Z. Football Association wrote informing the Association that m future all business between the N.Z.F.A. and tlie P.B.F.A. must be, conducted by tlie respective secretaries.

Several alterations to the rules controlling tlie Brown Shield: matches were agreed to.

There will be no Thursday competition matches next week on account of the holidny. -

The permission of Ihe Rugby Union to use the Domain for Thursday matches was received with thanks.

E. . SHarples applied to he transferred from the County to the Taruheru Club. Permission was refused, as the application had heen received after the close of the first round, and.. a transfer granted now would be a breach of the rules.
