As he complied she fatally shot him with a revolver m the darkness. She had previously written telling -her mother of v her intention, adding, "Courts have dealt lightly with girls who shot faithless lovers." Tlie jury acquitted the girl. Crowds inside and outside loudly cheered the verdict. .7
