An influential committee of farmers and tradespeople was appointed. DUNEDIN, last night. The directors of the National Insurance Company have declared an interim dividend of Is per share. RTVERTON, last night. The Hon. F. M. B. Fisher addressed a. large audience at Riverton to-night. The speedh was mostly on the lines of that delivered at Winton last night, and criticism, by the Opposition organ was severely handled by the Minister. He received an attentive hearing throughout, and was frequently applauded, and at the conclusion «a vote of thanks and confidence m the Government Mas carried almost unanimously. ,'
