NAPD3R, last night. Mr A. E. Jull was unanimously reelected chairman of the Napier Harbor Board. MARTON, last night. A v largely attended meeting of farmers was held at Marton to-day to consider the advisability of erecting freezing works near Marjory It was resolved : "That this meeting of farmers set up a committee to approach one, of tlia existing freezing companies with a view to erecting supplementary works m the Rangitikei district, between Marton and Feilding, and that- the committee confer with the Feilding and Taihap'e directors." An influential committee of farmers and tradespeople was appointed. DUNEDIN, last night. The directors of the National Insurance Company have declared an interim dividend of Is per share. RTVERTON, last night. The Hon. F. M. B. Fisher addressed a. large audience at Riverton to-night. The speedh was mostly on the lines of that delivered at Winton last night, and criticism, by the Opposition organ was severely handled by the Minister. He received an attentive hearing throughout, and was frequently applauded, and at the conclusion «a vote of thanks and confidence m the Government Mas carried almost unanimously. ,'
