Prince Maxmilian of Furstenberg and Prince Christian of Hohenlohe-Oehringen entered into partnership six years ago. and soon controlled a huge business extending to many parts of the world, including theatres, hotels, mines, tramways*, shops, steamship lines, farms and forests. The total capital was £120,---OCO,OOO. Tlie Prince of Furstenberg's wealth when the trust was formed was £25,000,000, the Prince of HohenloheOehringen had £12,000,000. Tlie Prince of Furstenberg is now comparatively poor, and already has sold some of his estates. The estates of tlie Prince of Hohenlohe-Oehringen are now worth £6,500,000, and his debts are ovei* £6,000,000.
