A BISHOP'S WARNING. MELBOURNE, March 27. The Anglican Bishop of Ballarat (Dr. Green) addressing a branch of the Mother's Union at Ballarat, eaid it was essential that the habit, of consideration for others should be taught. The belief that life \va« one wild rush and crush and that one must trample others down or submit to be trampled on wa-s what -was the matter -with -the social system to-day. The homes had to cure it. In every household there was a weaker element. The feuds end political differences we arc troubled with came from an endeavor to grab everything' ior one's own vide. The mothers should not let their children be started 'with the great falsehood of the "almightly dollar" as the basis of their lives. They should teach their children that to do good to one human ioul, merely to strike one blow at ignorance and vice -waa worth all the gold that ever went from Ballarat. They should teach girls that the most wicked" immoral, and ruinous thing a woman could ever do was to marry for the sake of money.,
