BURNT WHILE "MAKING UP." PERTH, March 27. The inauguratioft of the "Tango Tea" at the Tivoli Theatre was sadly signalised by a fatality. Jessie Lodge, aged 23, a recent arrival from Yorkshire, who had been ballad singing at the Tivoli, was ■'making up" for the tango parade, when her dress took flre^ She was severely burned, and died m the hospital next morning.
