CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor of the Herald.)
Sir, — We purpose holding Harvest Thanksgiving Services in Holy Trinity Church on Sunday as advertised. I write to say how pleased we shall be to see residents generally joining- in these •acts of thanksgiving. Regular Church attenders will not need the invitation. It h:is occurred to me,' however, that some, at least, who may consider themselves ordinarily as non-churchgoersi may be interested to know oi" the above services and will not resent a hearty invitation to join in them. I may be oldfashioned, but I hold a belief, which grows deeper with the growing yeirs, that our prosperity in the Dominion' and district is due not so much to crossbreds and patent manures as to tlie goodness of the Almighty. Sunday . next will furnish an opportunity for as many as may in some measure be like-minded to unite in simple, thanksgivings. Trinity Church .and the . ministrations of the clergy are freely offered to all your readers. — I am, etc.,
L. DAWSON THOMAS
