MERCER, this day. At the Mercer regatta, additional results were: —
Champion single sculls: Hadfield (of Waitemata) 1, Rddse (of Mercer) 2, Stone (of St. George's Club) 3. The present champion had the race pretty well his own way, and won comfortably by six lengths, while to tho general surprise Roose beat Stone by a couple of lengths. Marshall, of the Wanganui Club, was fourth. Young Thorpe, of Wanganui Union, struck -trouble early, and did not cover more than a small portion of the distance.
Other results were: Junior pairs, Waitemata 1, Wanganui Union 2; youths' fours, Whangarei 1, Wanganui IV(nk>n 2. Ohampion Fours: Wanganui Union (Cooby, Sharpe, Ryland, and Cottrill) 1, Waitemata '(Andrews, Hadfield, Parkinson, and Herring) 2, Ngaruawaliia 3. Wpn comfortably.
