CALCUTTA, January. 28.

A corporal of the field artillery at Bangalore died of hydrophobia, caused by the bite of a pet monkey, which was bitten by" a mad dog on June 17.

Others bitten by the monkey have been despatched to Madras to undergo the Pasteur treatment.
