Father Hplbrook, Chancellor of Auckland, at the "conclusion of an interesting address, given on the subjest of New Zealand at Wexfqvd, Ireland, last month, was questioned regarding the opportunities for immigrants (says the Auckland Star). "Since New Zealand is such a grand and glorious country," said Father Holbrook, "you might expect mo to answer the question, 'Do I encourage emigration?' The best answer I can give is to quote the official handbook, and then I canriot be acfiused of disloyalty to my adopted country.
