BUSH FIRES.
DAMAGE 1 IN VICTORIA. (Press Assn.— By Telegraph— Copyright.) MELBOURNE, December 22. Disastrous fires m Iho Aspendalc district are reported. A number of residences have been destroyed. (Received Dec. 23. 9.5 a.m.) MELBOURNE, December 25. A bush fire at .Aspendala swept miles along tho foreshore, upon which stood a. hundred houses, bungaJows, and week-end camps. Tho damage' is estimated at £20,000 to £30,000, mostly covered by insurance.
