-*• — — r— - I regret to record the of Mr W. H. .Stevenson, a son of Mr Robert . Stevenson, of the Waipiro Bay Trading Company. Mr Will .Stevenson, who • was only 34 years of age, had been ail- , ing- for some time, having contracted 5 enteric, and passed away at the Waiapu :' hospital last Wednesday. The interment took plaoe at the* Te Puia ceme* . tery, tho following day, the Rev. G. i D. Wilson conducting the service. Alk most every faniily m the district was represented at the graveside and the number of beautiful floral tributes testified to the respect m which the deceased was held. He leaves a widow and two ; children with whom much sympathy is 1 felt. 3 Mr Marie Heremia is at present at ■ the Waiapu hospital, suffering from J 1 enteric. From enquiries made yester- ' day he is progressing as favorably as * can bo expected. — Correspondent.
