TARIFF REFORM DELEGATES.

Six hundred delegates to tlie Tariff Reform Conference at Manchester reaffirmed the necessity for imperial preference. Some speakers vigorously denounced tho alleged boycotting of tariff reform speeches by Unionist newspapers, Mr Austen Chamberlain, referring to Home Rule rumors, said he objected to dealing with half a Cabinet, but not to carrying out private negotiations. If Mr Asquith wanted a settlement he should address Mr Bonar Law.
