'Per Press Association.) MARTON, this day. The annual shooting meeting under the auspices of the Rangitikel Defence Rifle Club was held at Bull?, yesterday. The weather conditions were very bad, but m spite of that some good scores were made. The competitors (about 60) came from all parts of the island. The results were:— Optional aggregate: Loveday (Woodville) 170. King (Opakl R.C.) 170, H. Thomas (Hautere Cross) IGB, Bolton (Opaki R.C.) 107, Purnell (Wanganui) 167. Championship aggregates Loveday (WoodvlUe), Bolton (Opaki R.C). Purnell (Wanganui), Hyde (Opaki R.C). Mayhew (Feilding), Thomas (Hautere Cross). Delhi (Rangiwahia). Teams' match (10 shots 300, 500, and 600 yards): Opaki R.C. 519. Patea R.C. 509, Rangitikel A. 506, Wanganui R.C. 500. Kaitawa R.C. 496. Linton A. 494. Linton B. 491, Rangitikei B. 486, Ohingaiti 456. *€?he Rangitikei Rifie Club won the Sandon-Ohakea challenge cup.
