The men ha-d been to Palliser Bay fibbing. They stalled to return on Sunday. The engine broke down while ofi 1 the Heads. Tlie sea. was rough, and the little craft, was tossed about dangerously. The water got into the parts of the engine, totally disabling it. The fear that tho launch would be swamped caused those aboard to jettison a large catch of fish, which had been secured. Then they hoisted a tiny sail. After drifting all Sunday night and all day on Monday, they eventually made port at a late hour. "
