■ m ' COST FOB FIRST YEAR, £10,940. A LIST OF SALARIES. The Department of Physical Training is provided for m the Estimates for the current year; with allocations totalling £10,940. The salaries to be. paid include the director £600, chief inspector, and instructor (for six months) £175, chief woman inspector, and instructress at £300 (for four months) £100 ; ten inspecing instructors at £200, £2000;' clerk £235, and' typiste £90. The incidental chnrges for this department total £7840, and include £5000 for teachers' instruction classes, £620 for equipment for these classes, travelling expenses and allowances £1500, and advertising, books, office expenses, £300.
