They consider that the treaty establishes the balance of power and .consolidates ■the European equilibrium. Austrian official newspapers consider ; that revision of the treaty is essential ;and do not expect'a lasting peace. They ; think that if the Powers are unable to -reach an agreement, then each Power diould have a free hand to protect their own interests. ' -.- .
