NOT LIKELY TO LAST.
' RIGHT TO REVISE THE TREATY. I (Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) I LONDON, August 8. I The roughly-drawn boundaries all favor Greece and Servia to Bulgaria's detriment.- | 1 The Latter country's delegates fought' '■ bravely to secure an equitable settlement m face of the Allies' insistence, coupled with • Roumania's pressure and the indifierenoe of the Powers, especially Aus- : tria, from whom Bulgaria expected support. It is believed that the peacx* — which did not take into account BulI g.iria.'s ethnic interests —will not last. Russia and Austria expressly reserve the right of the revision of the Treaty regarding KavaJa. 1 Many newspapers are pessimistic regarding the lastiifg en peace, and state that there is little hope of the Powers s revising the Treaty. ] The French newspaper^ are- jubilant at.-the Peace Treaty, and hope that the Powers' revision will be abandoned. They consider that the treaty establishes the balance of power and .consolidates ■the European equilibrium. Austrian official newspapers consider ; that revision of the treaty is essential ;and do not expect'a lasting peace. They ; think that if the Powers are unable to -reach an agreement, then each Power diould have a free hand to protect their own interests. ' -.- . Russia supports Austria m a, demand for a revision of the Treaty. The Ambassadors have verbally demanded the observance- by Turkey of tho London Treaty, particularly regarding the Enos-Midia line. Turkey's reply has not. yet been decided on. (Received August-9, 10.50 a.m.) : ■ BUCHAREST, August 8. j At the close of the Peace Conference, M. Toutcheff thajiked tho Austro-Hun-garian Minister, to whose support Bulga:ia chiefly owed Seryia's yielding of Strurnnitza. .
