STRANDED INDRABARAH.
HOPES OF REFLOATING
(Per Press Association.)
MARTON, last night
A Rangitikci Advocate representative •visited the scene of the stranding of the Indrabarah to-day. ' She is closer m shore than at first, and is broadside on, her bow pointing towards the south. She has a slight list to starboard. A big attempt to refloat her is to be .*made on Friday .or Sunday. All depends on the weather. The ship will pull herself out stern firstj using her propellers to cut a channel m the sand. She is not silting up, arid bumped a great deal on Monday night, pieces of ber propeller blades breaking away. Captains Rainey and Pliinket, jand Mr Daniels are on board, arid the former is very confident of refloating, -if not this time, then later on with spring tides. • -*--
C— ptain HoHirigsworth is also very confident, and m good spirits. It is
understood that five .of the ship's -winches have been torn out, and the
