The Japanese Minister has informed the State Department that Japan is ready to renew the arbitration agreement expiring on August 1.;
The Senate is likely to offer consider- 1 able opposition as a result of the^antialien Bill dispute.
Senator Chamberlain is opposing a renewal of the United States treaty with Britain, or, if it is renewed, contends that Panama tolls should be removed outside the scope of arbitrable questions.
