General Hotzendorfe (chief of the General Staff) and Colonel von Gierslingen (commander of the Prague Army Corps) have resigned in connection withthe Redi incident.

General Hotzendorfe's resignation was not accepted .

Redi denounced Russian officers who sold information to Austria and Redl's exposure was due to the vengeance of a betrayed Russian offioer.
