Venezelos (Greek Premier) has resigned, as he does not wish to bear the responsibility for the warlike disposition of the Greek troops against Bulgaria. CONSTANTINOPLE, June 2. M. Nachevitch, formerly Bulgarian representative at Constantinople, has arrived on a special mission —it is believed to secure Turkey's neutrality in the event of a Gracco-Servian-Bulgarian war. The North German Gazette, after eulogising Sir Edward Grey's efforts, states that . the signing of peace is a proof of the Powers' .co-operation, and has resulted in a desirable provisional issue and is also a. stimulus to further joint . action. ,
The paper is hopeful that the Allies will amicably: settle their own disputes.
