NOTICE is hereby given that the Gisborne Ha _bor Board, in cpn- ; i junction with thf Mayor, Councillors, '. > and Burgesses of the Borough of Gisborne, intend to promote in the forthl coming session of Parliament a local Bill, the, objects of which are as follows: — 1. r -_hat' the lands mentioned in the. first schedule of the said Bill, whidi are j the properties ., of the Gisborne Borough j Council, being parts of public roads abut- '. ting or contiguous to the -Harbor Board's - foreshore, shall, without any conveyance or other assurance, vest in the Gis- * Dome Harbor Board upon the same trust as other lands are held by that body. ■2." That the Borough Council shall- have . the use of so much land as may be agreed upon between the Borough Council and the' Gisbome Harbor Board, in writing, under their respective seals, as may be necessary for the construction and erection of a new bridge to span the Turanganui River connecting the terminus of Gladstone Road with the Wainui Road, . on the same site as the bresent bridge, ', or near thereto. 7. That the Borough Council shall have vested in it for road purposes an area of land a chain in width fronting the Gisborne Sheepfarmers' Frozen Meat Company, Limited's, Works at Kaiti, but any part of such area as extends on to woodWorks or wharves shall be repaired and maintained by the Gisborne Harbor r Board. 1 i A' copy of the Bill is deposited in the T Magistrate's Court at Gisborne, and is \ open to public inspection for three com- " i plete weeks from the daje hereof.
