FINE WEATHER GENERALLY PREVAILS.

(Per. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. There is beautiful weather for the holiday.

The only function in Wellington was a parade of troops. There waa a large turn-out of territorials and cadets, and a royal salute was fired, ending up with cheers for his Majesty. The marching of many of the companies was remarkably good, and was applauded by the spectators.
