OPERA HOUSE PICTURES.
A large and (enthusiastic audience last night expressed entire satisfaction with the fine programme projected' ■. at , the above house — of— entertainment. - The Irish ''Ireland, the Oppressed," brought the house .down, whilst the peregrinations of Marty, Peggy and the holy man slid evenly across the screen. Seldom has a. programme of pictures been seen where facial expression has been so defined -as ; in the case of the four dramas on this programme. Une follows the subject and lives in the scene, so realistic is it, and the accompanying music adds to the general effect. A fine Selig drama, "The .Derelict's Return," is a A-ory powerfully-acted and tragic film, and is a moral lesson to all. The story is unique, splendidly acted, and with «• perfect projection -no more could be desired. The management tcmind patrons who may not have seen this programme that they would be foolish to miss it,- and they' -are reminded that to-night is tlie last night.
