CYCLONIC DISTURBANCE.

A thunderstorm occurred at Arrhidale. Telephone wires were fused. In one residence the inmates sustained severe shocks. Other districts report severe thunder and lightning following a heat wave. BRISBANE, January 31. A cyclone is raging at Cairns. There is terrific wind, rain,;' and mountainous seas on the coast. Shipping is sheltering. Slight damage has been done to houses at?
