The course is in excellent order- Results : — Mungaroa Welter : Big Blast 1, Distinction 2, Mediterranean 3. All started. Won by a head, a length and ahalf separating second and third' horses. Time 1.29 3-5. January Welter : Mikuatu 1, Merry Frank 2, Rock Ferry 3. All started. Won by a length, half a length between second and third horses. Time, 1.40 4-5. Wellington Stakes : Mowbray 1, Saltzburg 2, Styx 3. Scratched : Bon Rere, Adelicia, Nightwater, Hoopee, Snowraker, and Marfaux. Won by half a head, two lengths betAveen second and third. Time, 1.1 4-5.
