GAIETY ACTRESS DEAD.
LONDON, January 8. Miss Maud Hobson, the well-known Gaiety actress, is dead. =. The late Mis3 Hobson was a native .bf.-St. Kilda, Melbourne, but left Australia at an early age. She returned aa ■a member of the second London Gaiety Company, headed by Mr E. J. Lonnen. She was, a tall, handsome bloncta of con.siderablo charm and ability.
