WONDERFUL RESULTS OBTAINED

BERLIN, Dec. v 6. Dr.: Friedmann's recently-announced discovery Of a cure for tuberculosis is still exciting the greatest interest. Investigations that have been made show that cures were effected in all cases treated with the exception of those in which the sufferers were in the last stages of the- disease. Dpctors admit the efficacy of the new remedy, >and several hospitals are tyrning over, cases to Dr. Friedmann, who has already treated Upwards of 1000 cases,; and has lost hone exbept tho_.e in which the vitality of the patients was so low that nothing could' have' saved them. It takes only, a few weeks for a cure to bo effected, and ; the serum not only destroys the germs, but also procures the patient's immunity . from future attacks. A press representative by whom many of the ; patients were interviewed declares that the cures were all remarkable, and had been effected with one injection only. j . .

Dr. Friedmann, in an address before the Berlin Medical 'Society, in the early part of last month, announced that he had discovered a cure for all forms of tuberculosis'. He said that 682 patients had been treated with the new remedy, including 250 consumptives, and that practically 100 per cent, had been cured. The treatment consists of subcutaneous or intravenous injection, of a non-viru-lent tuberculous bacillus,
