THE OPERA HOUSE.

"The Massacre," an exclusive A.B. subject, will be the star attraction at the Opera House this evening. Thi_ picture, which has drawn big houses \vhereve_ shown, is claimed to be one of the finest of historical films. It deals with the disastrous campaign in Montana, U.S.A., wlien General Custer's army of a. thousand troopers were massacred to a man by Sioux Indians. The Biograph Company* have spared no expense to make the picture a complete one, and all the incidents connected 'with the great fight are faithfully portrayed. Incidentally an absorb ing\ love interest I runs right through, and from start tc finish keen interest is sustained. Othei pictures that will be included in the programme are: "The One She Loved,' r drama in which the ' twin passions oi love and jealousy are amply displayed. "Blinks and Jinkß,' a splendid comedy of 1000ft,, is also well worth seeing. The programme also contains a fine "Budget," brimful of topics of interest. The comic element is sustained by "Polidor against his Mother-in-law," and "Jenkins," whilst scenics and industrial subjects are represented by "The Cliff, of Etratat" and "Artistic Glasswork." Sensationalism is at its best in "Lieut. Daring Quells a Rebellion," the picture being full of startling and unusual situations. Tliis series will be screened for three nights only, an entire change being shown on Wednesday.
