STRIKE AGAINST SHIRKERS.

(Per Press Association.) V INVERCARGILL, last night. The Bluff Territorials went out on strike last night, and only some three or four put m an Appearance at parade m uniform. The majority of the others were present m mufti, but they declined to drill. They served an ultimatum on their officers, stating that they refused to take any further part m the movement until such time as the officers commanding the Southland district prosecuted those who persistently refused to attend parade. It appears that tlv> position at Bluff has been that • shirkers nave not only refused to attend themselves, hut have taunted to exposperation those who .have attended. The strikers are determined not to attend another garade until the shirkers are brought efore a magistrate nnd dealt with as the law provides.
