DEATH OF A CAPTAIN.

The steamer "Pprrigo" has Returned to Lev nka, and -report's that following on the ship grounding hear Lbpialoma Cap- : tain Mahy retired to his cabin, and was shortly after found dead, supposedly from poison. He left, a letter /saying* that' the trouble was due. to, the ship, and iiiot to domestic worry. There was too much inquiry.. Recently the Dorrigo grounded at Wallis .Island,, and the captain was ordered •_ to pay £25 costs. He was 45 years old and an Englishman.
