Atlantic liner home. j The old Empress boats resembled yachts more than anytliing else. j The Empress of Asia, however, resembles rather a man-of-war, and, indeed, has been specially designed by her constructors, the Fairfield Shipbuilding Company, for conversion into an auxiliary cruiser m time of war.
