' Some desperate fighting has taken place near Yatsien, m the Szechuan province, between Chinese troops and the rebel Thibetans. The battle ended m a victory 1 for the Chinese, who lulled 1000 of the enemy, and captured 400 others, whom they afterwards massacred. On th© Chinese side 500 men were killed. ' .
