SYDNEl r , July 25. • In the Assembly, the Treasurer intro-' duced a three months' Supply Bill, asking for over £5,000,000, and providing, among other items, for the expenses of the Government brick, lime, and blue metal works. Mr McGowen (Premier) secured an adjournment to give Mr Wade (leader of the Opposition), who is still ill, a chance of opening the debate on the Address- in-Reply. , Speaker Willis proposes to 'increase his own salary from £1000 to £1500, and that of Mr Meagher (Chairman of Committees) from £750 to £1000.
