"WELLINGTON, this day. The long arm of the law was demonstrated yesterday, when a man named George Paul was charged at the Magistrate's Court with offences committed as far back as 1908 and 1910. On 24th November, 1908, Paul, while at Himitangi, stole a bicycle Valued at £20 from a man named Fttnnell. He subsequently disposed of this at Pahiatua.; and from that time on the police lost all' trace of the misdemeanant-.'
