A meeting of' the, Liberal-Labor Commissioners formed a strong committee to further the acquisition of land by the ; central ; Government and local authorities based oh .Government taxation and valuation. It is understood that the intention^ is "to prepare a memorandum concerning the nationalisation of land for presentation to the Premier and Mr Lloyd George (Chanr cellor of the, Exchequer). The committee disclaims opposition to Mr Acland's committee. '
