In all about 40 couples took the floor, and, dancingwas kept up with spirit until 3.30 a.m, On Saturday afternoon a football match was played between sides picked by -Mr Whyte (an old Association rep.) and Mr Bilham, and after a niost interesting arid exciting game resulted m a win for Mr Whyte's team by 12 to 3. The game was ably, controlled by Mr Howell, Messrs Warner and Paterson kindly acting as lino umpires. > — In the evening again many of the settlers and their guests assembled at. the hall for several hours' rinking. .
