TAXICAB COLLIDES WITH TRAM.

AUCKLAND, this day. A t&xi-cab, driven by William Curtis, ana containing four others, collided with a tram car at Epsom late last night. Thos.' Noonan, a single man, aged 25, a resident of Parnell, 1 and Fred Cole were seriously injured. "The collision was caused by a wheel of the motor skidding. The tram caught the back wheel of the -motor and wrenched the lower part of '; the motor car away. Noonan sustained (shocking, injuries to his head, and* was with difficulty from the debris. ; -He 'eKed almost immediately. Cole had •J his thigh injured, 'and was conveyed to -the hosptal. The motor* car was practi- ' callv ruined.
