(Special* to tbe Herald.) ) NAPIER, this day. The Maoriland Co.'s steamei; Holmdale. Which! left Gisborne a week, ago for Greymouth, put into port this morning, short of 7 coal. She experienced a severe buffeting, especially m the vicinity of Cape Palliser, where she was hove W fc* $ome. time. Being unable to make Wellington she- was obliged to run back, to; Napier. Her propeller worked loose, and the steamer was brought here to remedy the defect. S^he resumes her voyage tomorrow.., .
