BINGARA TRAGEDY.

Ball's defence was that his wife was suffering.-, agony owing to illneßS. He entered the room and, saw her struggling on the floor, . foaming at the , mouth, havipg taken carbolic. He shot her because he pitied 'her in her suffering. -He was 5 convinced that she was practically dead when he shot her. He always loved' his wife. They had' never quarrelled.'
