EIGHTY PERSONS KILLED
HOMES LEVELLED AND INMATES CRUSHED TO DEATH.
I (Press Assn.— By Telegraph.— Copyright.) (Received April 24, 12.35 p.m.) ■ NEW YORK, April 23. The tornado previously reported in Illinois covered a larger area than was at first believed. Eighty persons are known to have been killed by the collapsing houses and falling trees. Hundreds of homes have been levelled iu one district, people 'behijg crushed to' death by the debris.
