FOOTBALL.
GARRTSON CLUB,
There was a large attendance of members at the adjourned annual meeting of the above football club liast night, Mr R. Somervell beiug in * the chair. . It was decided to convey 4 tlie club's sympathy to Mr and Mrs Jolin ' East upon the death of their son, Mr Cecil East, who was a prominent member of the club.
A balance-sheet was submitted, showing n credit balance' of £2 6s Bd. Ofliceis were' elected as follows: — Patron, Mr G. B. Oman ; president, --Mr D. J. Kaye; club captain, Mr R. Somervell ; committee, Messrs Davis, McColl, Miller, Inder, Lloyd, Anderson and Stitch bury; junior captain, Mr 11. Stitclibury; deputy captain, Mr 'J. Hiloyd; selection comniittee, captain, deputy-captain ami Mr O. Hansen. A/ number of new members were elected, including most of the niqipbers ot tho defunct YiM.O.A. "Club, and it was decided to outer a senior team as well as junior and:thirdgrade teams.
