Messrs Dalgety and Co; and Common, Shelton and Co. had a fair yarding of cattle, nnd as there .were very few. ■ buyers , waited for the store cattle' to be offered. The following lines sold' readily: 3 cows £5 15s, 3 calves £1 »s, 13 heifers £3, 7 steers £3 6s, 11 steers £2 Is, 8 heifers £2- Is, 8 steers £3, <T calves £1 18h, 31 weaners 345.
