(Press Assn.— By Telegraph.— Copyright.) CONSTANTINOPLE, Match 6. The Porte has notified the Powers that the Dardanelles will be closed at nighttime.

CONSTANTINOPLE, Feb. 29.

Official notice has been sent to the Powers by the Turkish Government that the Dardanelles will be. closed' to navigation owing to the activity of the Italian warships on the coast of. Syria. This indicates that the Government feared an attack on the coastal towns of European Turkey. All Italians are to* be expelled from Turkey, "and their property will probably be confiscated. •
