AFFAIRS IN CUBA.
WILL AMERICA INTERVENE? (Press Assn. — By Telegraph. — Copyright.) WASHINGTON, January 17. The United States has served a notice to President Goodley that the United States will intervene at Cuba if further attempts are made by the veterans' organisation nullifying the law prohibiting the interference by the military with politics. The veterans declared that there had been active displacement from the civil service of sympathisers with the Spanish cause during the rebellion.
