She encountered a cyclone on January Bth, and the cargo shifted and threw the vessel on her beam ends. There was danger of foundering. (Received January 18, 10.20 a.m.) PARIS, January 17. The steamer Vanad is, bound from the Tyne for Ciyita Vecchia, m Italy, has foundered with her crew of twentythree, after leaving Ushant.
