When mention is made of the prosperity of New Zealand it should not be forgotten what an important part butter-fat plays m tho welfare of the Dominion. During November tho following payments were made for milk at the undermentioned factories : Midhurst, £10,000 ; Stratford, £7504; Ballance, £6500; Northern Wairoa, £5439; Ngarere £3043; Lowgurth, £2407; Cardiff, £1740.
